Hi
Has something recently changed - non-main account holders in my household cannot now access live or recorded progs on the Tivo box via TV Control or TV Go whereas they recently could.
I can access all services as the main account holder.
Error is:
This programme is only available to watch for the main accountholder.
Code:E=198 V=-1

Hi stup52
VM's apps have always only been accessible when signing in using the main account holder login credentials.

Yes, there always was a main account only limit but hasn't been for some time for my household, but now seems to have reverted.
I can't think that there's any bandwidth problem to still need the restriction.

I know you've posted in the Stream forum, however this issue isn't connected to the Stream box, it's related to either a Tivo box or a V6 box (Stream boxes don't use the TV Control app as they run on the horizon operating system and not tivo)
I'm afraid I don't see how any other person in your household has been able to access any live TV or recordings on the Tivo box via TV Control or TV Go without being signed in using your My Virgin Media credentials. See /how-to-use-virgin-tv-control-app and /how-to-use-virgin-tv-go-app
Regardless of that, it looks like this issue may be related to error Code:E=9 V=-1 and a quick forum search for error Code:E=9 V=-1 shows, "This can happen if the content that you're watching is restricted by the content provider to only be supplied to your TV box and not our TV GO app."
and
"The licencing can change and on occasions, may only cover new seasons or episodes. The error message you've posted above does indeed look like on this occasion, the programme was restricted. Some programmes will likely be available through the BBC iPlayer app direct as they own this content."
