Activation fee

2 weeks ago, a gentleman from virgin phoned me, said that virgin wants to thank its customers by send them a free streaming box, I said I don't need it because I don't even have a TV at home. But he insisted on it and said nothing will change about my broadband contract and bill, I thought, ok I am not using it and will not be charged, so I let him send me the streaming box over, but then I realized that there's an activation fee on my next bill. I have to pay for a service that I didn't need or asked for, I don't even open the parcel yet.

Already spent hours to talk to the CS team, they can't do anything about it but confirmed the bill.

I have read some archives here, similar cases that get refunded or waived, so will I too?
