very slow speeds

Why is it so difficult to sort out poor download speeds, the average i get is aroung 8mbps download speed and on the M100 package. Ive done everything i can but it looks like my only option is to go back to my previous provider. I was only connected up on the 2nd May when it should have been connected in March which was a bad start to begin with. How easy is it to leave my contract

How are you measuring speeds and via what device?

Are you wired or wireless?

Only got my PC connected at the moment, tried both wired and wifi and used several different speed checkers and all the usual remedies to solve the issue

Sorry to hear this is happening to you, 

I have checked few things from here and cannot see anything untoward that may be causing slow speeds

How are things looking now?

Speeds are still up and down varying between 1mbps and around 40mbps. Tried using a firestick for streaming but too unreliable

Just to confirm - is that result done with only that device connected? I ask as I can see at least 7 devices connected sharing the bandwidth - on a 100mb connection that is only going to go so far to be honest so ~30mb would probably be about right - unless all other devices were disconnected when you ran the test.
