upload speed problems

Hello, over past few month i have problems with my upload speed, as i have someone in a house who does streaming it is a big issue. upload speed constantly goes from 30 mb to 1-3mb max with speed like that it is impossible to stream.

Hub stats look good.

BQM looks ok ish.

Can you paste the rest of the upstream hub stats, the but that says timeouts.

Did you do a reboot recently?

Is that the red lines on the BQM?

no i haven't rebooted my modem in this charts.

im guessing if my charts looks okish i'm better off to change internet providers.

Well it's kind odd not having any upstream timeouts, given virgins quality.

Virgin will be along at some point to help.

Were those tests via wifi or an ethernet cable?

You may as well give it a reboot now before they ask you to do so.

Turn it off wait a few minutes and power it up again.

ethernet cable,we never really had any issues with download speed,its just upload speed i'm trying to fix, and its on multiple times on a day when dropping from 30 mbps to like 4mbps we had an engineer around couple month ago he just changed new modem and checked cables and didn't find any issue.

It's probably a network fault of some kind.

The only other thing I can suggest is trying a different cable for a speed test.

That and a reboot.

Can you please advise me what upload speed your able to get with the hub in modem mode and connected via a Cat 6 Ethernet cable?

 

I've not been able to find your account, can you please confirm if you've checked the service status checker to see if any outages appear in your local area?

Hello,

at the moment my upload speed is this,right now.jpg which is very low again. this is been tested via hub mode and Ethernet cable. i have checked service status it is always showing that there is no issues. upload speed was dropping numerous times this week different times, morning , afternoon and evening evening like right now i have only 4.27Mbps upload where it should be around 30mbps.

this need sorting out because it is been like this for a year, i dont feel like i should pay 55£ for M350 Fibre Broadband where it should be 36mbps and im not even getting half of it.
