upgraded broadband speed ?

virgin advised in the last few months that they were upgrading my  package from 100 to 200 Mb

just checked actual speed is around 80 ( hard wired) which is the same before upgrade , anyone had 

same issue . i had noticed no difference in speed since the announcement so i checked 3 times today

and found speed is unchanged !!

Wired from what device?

Also what is the cable spec - it will be printed on the cable sheath itself.

Have you tried steps to reset your router/hub? I've found upgrades activate after a reset.

Turned on off also held down reset function for 1.5 mins

Look in the Hub settings for the "config file" and see what is in the "Max data transfer rate" boxes for the upstream and downstream channels. That will indicate whether you have been upgraded yet.

Of couse as implied - your device & cable need to be gigabit enabled to see >100mbps
