It is best to check for a fault in your street via : 0800 561 0061

The Hub's Power levels / SNR / Modulation modes all look fine.
Are the Downstream Pre RS errors counts stable or rising rapidly ? If not rising the connection stats look OK.

The 200 / 0 Realspeed result at the Hub suggests the Realspeed test failed to run properly on the Hub, especially when the device speed results were so much better.

The real speed and speed test are all over the place. The number says no fault in my area. Others are having the same issue now

Hi locky1,

Thanks for posting, and sorry to hear you've been having some connection issues.

I've had a look at things from our side, and it looks like there is a network issue that requires a technician visit.

I'll need to confirm a few details with you first, so I've popped you over a private message.

Thanks for joining me over private message locky1,

I've arranged an engineer visit for you now, you'll be able to check the date and time of the appointment via your online account here

Alex_Rm

So my appointment is Friday. So I gotta put up with an unusable service until then? Unacceptable...

Apologies locky1,

We'll always aim to arrange the earliest appointment possible.

Alex_Rm

Your expectations are insanely high. An appointment for a truck roll within 72 hours is pretty reasonable for a residential ISP. If you need a faster response a business service is where you need to be. Businesses pay more precisely for that faster and higher quality support.

Your very first post in this thread called them useless anyway. Maybe they're just living up to it given you call them it all the time?

When you move to Openreach full fibre you might well be in for some disappointment if you're expecting their fault calls to be any faster. You'll probably be moaning about how long it takes them to install you, too.

If you want priority service the only option is to pay for it. No network provider has engineers and technicians waiting around for locky1 or any other residential customer to require a truck roll.

I actually pay more for my line than the business 1gbs..
Openreach products don't have half as much issues as Virgin have had in the last 6 months..

We apologise for the issue locky1.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a fault free service but we will always do all we can to offer a resolution as quickly as possible.

Thanks.
