slow tivo

I have an old tivo box and it is taking a long time to do anything. When you load netflix, for example, it takes 3-4 minutes to load. I know it's not the internet as this is very fast. Is there anything that can be done?

Thanks for your post and welcome to the community forums. Sorry to hear that you are having issues with the TiVo box. Is it only the on-demand services that are slow or are other features with the box?

Thanks for your response.

I'm afraid to do most things from turning on to switching channels! If you want Youtube you can count the time it takes to load on a calendar!!!

Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Hi noddy123,

 

That's OK no worries, so it sounds like it's the apps such as YouTube and Netflix that are taking a while to load and not other services like the guide or on-demand services or switching channels that is taking time to load?

It's slow to do anything including changing channels and the menu's.
