slow speeds

I am on the 1GB service and since my hub 4 did an update the other day I am now getting slow internet speeds... sometimes its ok.. the this morning it was under 50mbs... then went ok.. and now its less that 500

its not the Cat cable as they are all cat6 and didnt have a problem before the hub update and when you try to dial 150 to find out or speak to someone it instantly hangs up

getting very fed up now as i am not getting what i pay for
