slow / intermittent wifi

Hi, I am a new customer and installed yesterday. The speed is currently around 40 mbps in the living room and 20 upatairs. I Should have around 100mbps and when i have restarted my router I have had that speed for a short while then it drops again. I am due to be working from home and with this signal i will struggle!
