poor speed

I’m connected wired via cat 6. Hub is in modem mode.

Post RS Errors from my stats are they ok?

Ideally there shouldn’t be any. Reboot the Hub and keep an eye on them. If they build up quickly there is a possible noise issue on the line. 
If you are in modem mode what Router are you using?

I'm using an ASUS ac68u for years now same setup, its only since they did some work in our area - end of November when I started to notice degradation.

Received an e-mail the other day from VM offering me a free upgrade to hub 5 which I accepted and is due to be delivered on the 6th of Jan - I hope that hub on modem mode will take me to the new DOCSIS 3.1 and improve things? I'm on the 350 meg package though and not sure if I qualify?

I have powered off and rebooted everything as advised and will keep an eye on the Post RS Errors.
