all sorted now it was the router that was faullty got a new router from virgin plugged it in and away it went

hi well it looks as though netflix were telling the truth about there ip was glitching and stuck cos got in contact with virgin they tried to reboot my router from there end and didnt clear so they checked my router and they said there was a problem they sent a new router out and it worked straight away so something to keep in mind
