low broadband speed

 help, have been upgraded to 200Mbps for about 9 m0nths and never recieved more than 110Mbps, but for... help, have been upgraded to 200Mbps for about 9 m0nths and never recieved more than 110Mbps, but for...supposed to receive 200Mbps since upgrade about 9 months ago, but only ever received no more than 110Mbps since upgraded from 100Mbps, for the past month it has been running at about 50Mbps and today ran a think mobile speed test and it returned a download speed of 33.0 Mbps and an upload speed of 2.9 Mbps. the virgin site consistently says there is no problem, have tried the pinhole reset and numerous reboots to no avail, please help me with this problem

Are you running these tests on wired or wireless connections?

what device are you using?

where is the device when running the test (ie same room)

what is the construction of the house (thick stone walls etc)

hi Nathan,

thanks for answering me, my computer is HP Pavilion Desktop 590 A0xxx

it is connected to 3.0 super hub that is about 1.5m away, by an Ethernet cable and is in the same room

my house is concrete external walls, plasterboard internal walls

Don’t run wireless speedtests.

Run one wired direct to the hub.
