internet connection intermittent

Hi,

my connection has been very sporadic since yesterday, i can not watch amazon video without it getting stuck at buffering or open any sites properly. They are all working in jerks.

 

i used ping to find out how stable my connection is, and here are the stats:

--- google.co.uk ping statistics ---

7452 packets transmitted, 5155 packets received, 30.8% packet loss

round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 15.531/22.185/675.713/16.018 ms

 

Any ideas if there are any ongoing issues? Mine is Area 03.

As well as the “Check Service Status” weblink, there is also a Service Status number 0800 561 0061 which usually tells you of local issues, down to postcode level (that might even not yet be listed on the Service Status web page) that may give you more info.

Are your devices with the issues connected by wifi or ethernet cable? If cable, try swapping for new Cat6 ones
