Hi,
From past 4 days YouTube is playing up on my Virgin broadband.
My area is IG1
I noticed it happens mainly before start of the video because an ad is about to play and sometimes in the middle.
It has been happening more often now.
I already tried diagnostic but it didn't find anything. And it is not just happening with one device but all devices at home. 2 mobile phones, 1 laptop, 1 tv. Same problem.
I'll share some pictures. Any help and ideas would be much appreciated. And if virgin technicians could look into it would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Thank you for letting me know @asifraja.
Do you also experince this with other streaming platforms?
I have been able to access your account using forum details and everything seems fine back end. Are you also using the latest version of the YouTube app?

Hi,
I do not use any other stareaming services. So cannot tell for sure.
Browsing other websites seems ok for me. Iy is just YouTube that freezes.
The App is latest version and no more updates available.
Router diagnostic test I ran as well and it's not reporting any issues.
Maybe if you can raise internally with your tech team, maybe they'll have extra info about YouTube streaming issue.
Thanks

I'm not sure if its related but my otherwise fine connection has also been struggling with streaming services recently.
I do remember years ago a similar problem on virgin.
The pages would load just fine but the streaming content itself would struggle.
It turned out to be a problem with one of virgins servers.

@risc19
You are right, it was definitely Virgin.
@Akua_A @jbrennand
Thank you for your responses. Last night, the YouTube seemed to work perfectly OK. That means it could be to do with Virgin.
I will share an update here if I face any issues.
Thanks

Hi @asifraja thanks for posting and welcome to our community.
Sorry to hear you've been having difficulties watching YouTube. Can I ask if this has improved since you posted and do other streaming sites show the same issue?
Regards
