You guys have 7 days to sort out 1MB upload speed - leaving for BT in 7

clarma2001
Tuning in

Pitiful upload speeds for 6 weeks.

I am paying for 350+ and download is broadly  fine.   Upload is constantly less than 5MB sometimes less than 1MB

See data config below and speed results attached.  Noting default IP address on 2 days changed, and suddenly we had an increase in upload speed to 30MB.   This was short-lived.

pre and post rs errors are off the scale - they may be historical - do a reboot to zero them and post back if they rise

as to 7 days what do you hope for - if the errors rise then staff here will likely book a tech - they dont have magic wands though or settings they can alter or signals they can send down the line to solve the problem

offshore have cornered the market on all those things if you believe them - sadly non of them work

you can obviously leave - are you out of contract of not there will be costs and have you given 30 days notice - stating you are leaving on here will not stop VM collecting money

pre and post rs errors immediately so noise somewhere on the line - not much you can do other than check all coax connectors are finger tight - a reset will do no harm - probably do no good but VM seem to like it to happen

after that ring it in and try and get CS to book a tech - they will likely see nothing wrong and want to do nothing or [the better option] wait here for VM to look at things and [hopefully] book a tech

Counting down the days.  5 days before I switch.   Many thanks.

Hi there @clarma2001

welcome to our forums and thanks for your post.

Sorry to see you are having issues with your upload speeds, I have checked our systems and everything looks as it should here so a tech visit as suggested by @-tony- may be needed.

I am going to send you a pm so I can help further.

Regards

Nathan
