I switched back to Virgin Media from Vodafone recently and although I have 3 time higher speed now (200Mbps vs 70Mbps) my Windows network drives over corporate VPN got about 2 time slower! My feeling is that this is due to higher ping values: on Virgin I'm getting on average about 20ms ping, while Vodafone is around 10ms.
Is there anything I can do to improve my network drives speed/reduce latency?
