WiFi speeds vary on device

Hi. New customer.
having issues with WiFi speeds on my iPhone I get ~200mbps. But on my laptop I only get ~10mbps. (Note they’re next to each other and I’m about 2M from the hub)
I ran diagnostics and got the following back:

If you still think something is wrong, please check the following

Your broadband connection is working.

3

Your broadband connection is ready.

4

The temperature of your Hub 3.0 is normal.

Re: WiFi speeds vary on device

As the iPhone is getting full speeds and the laptop isn't - that's the place to look first.

Does it have an "old" wireless card in it that is limiting speeds - perhaps it has failed, or the drivers need updating. What does it say in the settings about its spec? Can it connect to the 5GHz band or is it 2.4GHz only perhaps?

Re: WiFi speeds vary on device

It’s not just the laptop (although I’ll see if I can check those things).

The PlayStation was getting much lower speeds also (even when connected via Ethernet cable)

Husband’s laptop was much slower too. I put this down to it being in a different room but I live in a small flat!
