Hi

i have just got 1gig broadband when checking speed I’m getting 500 - 600 meg and it drops to about 20 when moving away from router I’ve done all the steps virgin have asked????

How are you testing?

The Gb/s would need to be tested using a cat6 ethernet cable straight into the hub.

WiFi is never guaranteed as so many factors can affect it! - Most phones will only go up to 500-600 Mb/s

On hub 4 

the wi-fi loss is more concerning

Try with a laptop with a cat6 ethernet cable straight into the hub - WiFi can be notoriously shocking for speed.
