Hi, for a few weeks now Virgin have been throttling all of my google drive downloads to about 2.5MB/s.
However, when downloading the same files over a VPN i'm getting the full line speed that I'd expect on my gigabit package ie. ~100MB/s.
This is the same behaviour with all devices on my network.
I'm also able to download at full line speed using a google drive command line utility over my normal connection (with no VPN), hence I'm convinced that VM are throttling my traffic based on IP and browser user agent.
Has anyone else experienced this? I personally cannot wait to jump ship to Community Fibre as soon as their rollout has hit my street.
All devices are hardwired, Superhub has been reset etc...

Thanks for posting. I am sorry to hear of the broadband issues. I can confirm we're not throttling your connection 🙂 so please do not worry. Your levels are all fine, no issues/outages and also the congestion/SNR levels are fine 🙂
