Hi, I'm currently getting great download speeds, over 85Mbps, however my upload speed is basically nothing. Has been all day today. Makes video calls impossible. Any ideas or suggestions? and yes I have reset everything you can think of.
Type 192.168.0.1 (192.168.100.1 in Modem mode) into your browser URL bar and press enter.
Hub 2 & 3 When the page appears DO NOT LOG IN but click ‘Check Router Status’.
Hub 4 When the page appears LOG IN then Advanced Settings > Tools > Network Status.
Copy and paste the contents of the Downstream, Upstream, Configuration and Network Log tabs onto here, if you get a yellow / straw box warning click the Post button again. Use one post for each tab if you wish.
What speeds do you get at >> speedtest.net << with a direct connection using a Cat 5E or better ethernet cable between the Hub in Router Mode and a 1Gbs capable Pc/Mac/Chromebook and no other devices connected ?
Can you Login to the Hub Settings and navigate to the Connected Devices page - what is the reported 'connection speed’ for the ethernet cable connected device you used for the speed test ?
Its a pain to get any external sites, but when I do I read around 80 Mbps down and 0.02 Mbps up. I use my virgin hub as a modem and my own Archer C1200. My home network through put is fine since I get great transfer speeds to my home NAS through the router. My iperf testing showed around 802 Mbps across my home network so I've no doubt the problem is external. I will post the modem data in just a moment.
