Very slow upload speed

Hi,

I've been on the M500 package since October. It's generally been working well, but on some days I get extremely slow upload speed - 0.2-0.5 Mbps at times according to Google speed test.

When uploading dips below 1 Mbps, my remote desktop connection to work gets significantly laggy. On a good day it can be >10 Mbps.

Downloading generally stays between 50-100 Mbps when uploading is struggling, so browsing and streaming are not really affected.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks for the reply. Not sure what I should be looking for on that page. It seems that both upstream and downstream power I have are in the right range?

Downstream is much too low (should be no lower than -6) and upstream is marginally too high (51 is the max) with many time outs. You'll need an engineer visit, you can try battling with the call centre (if you can get through) or wait here for a couple of days and the forum team will be able to arrange it,

Many thanks. I managed to speak to someone on 150, he ran some tests and then told me that it's an area issue and I should just wait for 24 hours. I explained that this has happened multiple times in the last few weeks, but he insisted that the power levels were not an issue, and that I should call back if it happens again to make a complaint. On well...
