Very slow upload speed

Hi,

First post here, so grateful for any help.

Been seeing very slow upload speeds for the last week or so, sometimes around 0.3MBps. I'm on the M100 package, and so normal upload speed around 5-10Mbps I believe. Download speeds can be variable, but generally better than shown below.

I've done all the usual checks, such as using ethernet not wifi, factory reset on the router. I've also set up BQM.

So this is showing high latency at peaks times of the day. I guess you'd expect the latency to increase at these times, but is this excessive? I use a Citrix remote desktop session for work, and this becomes almost unusable at times.

I've pased data from my router below also. Any assistance much appreciated!

My apologies for the broadband issues. Some of your downstream levels are out of spec.

Hi,

Unfortunately, this is not resolved as yet. The engineer did visit, and did a number of checks and replaced my router. 

He said his colleagues in Networks confirmed there was a known upstream problem which would be resolved 'in the next month'.

Can anyone provide any more detail on this? I'm in the Harpenden / St Albans area (Area reference 31).

Thanks for posting and apologies for the upload issues. There is an SNR (signal to noise ratio) issue affecting the service. The fault reference is F008776859

 

The estimated fix date is the 8th February.

I am in the same Area 31 and was considering booking an engineer, as I've been affected by it too. After seeing this post I shall wait it out until the 8th for a fix 🙂 Thank you!

Hi,

Any update on fault reference F008776859 / the SNR (signal to noise ratio) issue affecting the service.

The upload speed is still very poor 0.52 mbps (connected via ethernet / recently rebooted router).

Hi

Any news on this please (F008776859) as upload speeds are still very poor (0.62meg today).

Currently two weeks past the estimated fix date of 8th February.
