Very slow speeds in Bath - sub 1Mbps

Anyone else having the same problems in the BA2 area?

I'm on the so should be getting 20Mbps.

Would need to check the signal levels if could go to http://192.168.0.1 or if using modem mode http://192.168.100.1 clicking router status top right or bottom of page depending on hub [no need to login - depending on hub] and if could copy/paste the downstream, upstream, network log, don't worry about the formatting we can easily read it.. try and avoid using screen shots..

Everything looks fine on our end.

Is that on multiple devices?

Is that over WIFI or a wired connection?

Is the cable tightly screwed in to the hub?

It has been power cycled, tested on 3 devices, 2 wired, 1 WiFi, all cables are secure.

Well this is embarrassing........ it turns out it was an ID10T error with me being the idiot in question.

I'm sure I'd disabled Syncovery on my media server PC tucked away under the stairs but it was merrily chugging its way through a monthly backup to my cloud storage and eating 90% of the upload bandwidth 🙄

your upstream power levels rather on the lower side would make sure al coax connections finger tight, since would be best with upstream closer to 40dbmv +- 2dbmv, but should work, this might require a look by the forum staff which current can take a day or so

Thanks paultechy, all the coax connections are tight, I'm getting my advertised speeds (now I've really disabled Syncovery) and everything looks good apart from a small number of dropped packets. I'm not seeing any issues currently, even if the power levels are a little low.

Thanks for using the forums to get this issue with your upload speeds looked into, I am sorry if this was causing some frustration!

I can see your last post stated you disabled some software and since doing that you had little to no issues afterwards. 

Is this still the case today? If you feel the upload issues have arisen again I'll be more than happy to lend a hand 🙂
