Very low Download and Upload Speeds on a 200mbps connection

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me fix the low download speeds I'm getting on a 200Mb connection.

I have done all the normal hub reset stuff - nothing improved.

Speed test here: https://www.speedtest.net/result/10455798275

The issue has been going on for more than a week now. I'm in London area 15.

I'll add my router stats below in case someone can have a look and tell me how i can fix this.

Re: Very low Download and Upload Speeds on a 200mbps connection

Can you set up a Broadband Quality Monitor (BQM) at thinkbroadband.com - this will give you an insight into what is happening with the signal at the other side of the Hub, it will take a few hours to get any kind of trend showing although you should post the link straight away.

Post a 'Live Link' to your BQM on here.

Instructions for posting BQM Link

Under your BQM graph are two links in red.

Click the lower link (Share Live Graph) then click generate.

Copy the text in the Direct Link box, beware, there may be more text than you can see.

On here click the Link icon (2 links chain to the left of the camera icon)

In the URL box paste the link you copied and in the ‘text to display’ box write My BQM then click OK - you can post the link straight away.

Re: Very low Download and Upload Speeds on a 200mbps connection

Your >> BQM << needs a few more hours to get any kind of trend indicated but up to now I can see some very poor latency showing.

Have you checked the 'Check Service Status' at the top of the page ?

If nothing is showing try phoning 0800 561 0061, this will tell you of more local issues that may be affecting your district. Be aware that it isn't a manned line.

Your >> BQM << is now showing all red, have you lost connection, changed to Modem Mode or switched off ?

Your BQM is terrible!

You need to contact VM to investigate further.

Re: Very low Download and Upload Speeds on a 200mbps connection

haha i know - i was hoping for some suggestions that can possibly help me resolve it myself.

I have been trying to get hold of VM for the past 2 days. After 7 hours wait i managed to get through to support and started performing the usual router reset protocols. After 20min chatting with the guy he told me that his shift is over and will be popping me back into the queue. I lost my **bleep** during that moment! I have been trying to get through to support ever since. LOL!
