1st thing in the morning (say 6am to 8am) I do get a good upload, it just goes downhill from there (I am hardwired directly into the Hub 3) using a desktop i9 gaming PC so it must be something on the Virgin network that is causing it but the download is perfect ??
I really use more upload speed (twitch, youtube, facebook live, wowza etc) then download and it's been over a year now waiting for a stable service, I really do not understand why Virgin do not have a package that is for priority uploading so unfortunately it looks like I will have to switch back to fibre as I can't work from home like this. It sucks as will have to switch not just broadband but TV and mobiles as well.
Well a slight update, have to give credit where credit is due, my connection after the last engineering works (being cut off for the whole day) now means that my connection is %100 Rock solid !! it has NOT dropped of even gone anywhere below the minimum speed !!
So well done Virgin for finally replacing the hamsters that stopped running and fixing the issue, but unfortunately have already put in my notice for termination 😞 no need to leave now but would need to get in touch with retention department !
