I have 200 package (200/20 )and I want to access plex/jellyfin to watch videos, cctv upload to cloud etc. but the upload speed is only 20 mbps. Other providers in my area already provide 1 gigabit Symmetric Internet yess 1000/1000mbps,
I would love to switch but the contract is for another year :(. is there any way to get higher upload speed as only this is stopping me from being happy with my internet and if not is there any way to end contract sooner without paying ending sooner contract fee ?

VM could increase the upstream at little by going to 6 channels, but it’s really the way DOCSIS works. When VM have reworked everyone’s connection to use fibre they will, hopefully, ditch DOCSIS and we will get symmetrical speeds.

Sorry but no, bottom line is that, without going into all of the gory details, VM will not be providing symmetric services anytime soon - there are very good technical reasons why not.
So your questions, no, you can’t leave early without paying a fee, you did read and fully understand the terms and conditions when you signed up, didn’t you?
Want faster upload OK, how long does your minimum term contract have left to run before you can leave?

twr Maybe you can upgrade but it will tie you into a legally binding 18month contract.

I have M500. I've measured the upload speed (with a speed test) to be 30mbs.
when i try to download files from my fileserver I'm only seeing a speed of 1mbs
I have a jellyfin media server and streaming video just doesn't work
How can this be ?

From another location downloading a video from my media center i get 1 mbs ( megabits)

Hi george26,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the community.
I'm very sorry to hear about the issue you've been having with your upload speed.
I have attempted to locate your account to run some tests on our side but have been unable to locate this.
I will private message you now to confirm your details to look into this.
