Upload speed 0.05

Hello, I was hoping someone can help, and if they can thank you in advance!

For the last 2 weeks Ive had reduced download, connection drops on wifi and critically low upload- hovering around 0.05- which makes any kind of calling impossible. I have spoken to virgin twice, once to go through the checks and they said an engineer would come to my area (AL3) but it hasn't improved. Second time the engineer seemed quite new, frequently put me on hold and blamed my devices at first then told me this upload speed was normal- so deadlocked. This is my last hope before I cancel, as I actually dont want to leave Virgin but might not have a choice.

I wonder if its just a area capacity issue, or something wrong with my hub.

I can't offer any help but I have the same problem in AL1 - 50kB/s upload, huge latency spikes and dropped packets. It seems to be a widespread issue in the area in the past week.

Hopefully VM can get their act together and solve this soon.

Same here - also in AL3. Only been happening the past couple of weeks or so, the almost complete lack of an upload speed during the day makes work using the Virgin network impossible. The whole service had been reliable the last couple of years - including the first two lock downs.
