Upload Speed Fluctuations

Iowa22
Tuning in

Hey Folks. Recently upped my plan from M125 to m250 As my upload speed was just not up to standards required to stream. For the past couple of weeks i've been streaming with a solid upload speed to start with, then suddenly i get a massive drop off in upload speed for a few seconds and then returns to normal, and this repeats every couple of minutes. Some days it's okay, some days it's completely unusable.

Looking to see if there's any info you guys can see that could point me in the right direction for a solution? Did all the standard Router reset/reboot, switched ethernet cables etc. I've got a technician booked for tuesday but that's not for broadband support, it's a separate TV issue.

Here's my info:

I Have removed the MAC Address from the network log just to make you aware if it looks funny!

I'm currently also using a broadband quality monitor however this only has a couple of hours of info currently

any help appreciated, thank you!

you need someone to fix your line

---------------------------------------------------------------

Hey! thanks for the reply 🙂

It's good to know it's not on my end. May i ask how you could tell there was a fault with the line? it would better help me resolve this!

legacy1
Alessandro Volta

Lower downstream power levels resulting in low SnR and upstream some what high with drop Modulation

---------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks, Alessandro. Just a final question if i may, is that the line from the box outside in the street into my house ?

Sure the cable may or may not be the problem but whats in the box like a amp

---------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks kindly for the info. Apparently the issue will resolved by the 30th May but I'm praying it's earlier, as that's a full 9 days going with spotty internet hah
