Upgrading to M350 made no difference to download speed

As part of what I assume was a targetted promotion I upgraded our broadband to M350. Before the upgrade we usually achieved between 80 and 180mbps but now we seldom acheive better than 90mbps. The Superhub 3 is regularly restarted - mainly due to it being so flaky! House is wired with ethernet and gigabit switches so it isn't a WiFi issue.

How are you speedtesting?

With a wired or wireless connection?

Re: Upgrading to M350 made no difference to download speed

90Mbps on a wired connection usually means only a 10/100 network card or a CAT5 cable.

Re: Upgrading to M350 made no difference to download speed

I appreciate your help, but I did mention in my initial post that it is wired and I am using Gigabit switches. It isn't being limited by cables or switches.

Just in case you are not sure how to, access your router using http://192.168.0.1/ . Don't log in, select the 'Check Router Status' option.
