I renewed my contract a few weeks ago, engineer came out, everything was great apart from not receiving the correct speeds, I'm lucky to see 400Mbps. I have tried Samknows that's showing I don't receive 1GB to my home (included a screenshot). I have 3 Wireless devices and a wired Pc using a CAT8 Ethernet cable.
Can you post your Hub status and logs? Someone should be spot if there is a problem Navigate to http://192.168.0.1 (or http://192.168.100.1 - if in modem mode) Don't log in! Click on 'router status' Copy/paste the data from each of the tabs as text into a 'REPLY' as opposed to 'QUICK REPLY'. The forum software will remove the MAC addresses for you (you will likely need to click the 'post' button again).
Also, set up a 'Broadband Quality Monitor'. This will monitor the state of your connection and record any network dropouts etc - You can do this at ThinkBroadband (https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitoring/quality) Give it a while to gather data and then click 'Share Live graph' and paste the 'Direct Link' into the forum!
Hi and thank you for your response, I have created an account on Thinkbroadband, do I just keep the site running in the background with google open? also I had to create multiple posts with what you requested has it wouldn't let me post it because of a 20,000 character limit.
The BQM just runs all the time in the background - just go to the think broadband site to periodically check all is OK (occasionally your IP address changes so you'd need to edit the BQM - a simple task)
Nothing is standing out from your Upstream stats - can you post up the downstream ones too?
