Upgraded my contract last week, but speed hasn't changed

I was on 20MB, but should now be on 100.  I've run a few speed tests and it is still showing a solid 20MB.

What speed tests?
Try fast.com and compare

Next, login to Hub, look at the device connected speed and Downstream Max Traffic Rate

Re: Upgraded my contract last week, but speed hasn't changed

I used Ookla.  Used to give the right answer when I was on 100Mbps previously.  Now I've seen above 30, but mostly 20-some.  fast.com is all over the place, but faster than Ookla.  I haven't seen anything above 80Mbps, though, and usually a lot lower.  The displayed speed bounces from single digits to 50-80 as the test runs, don't know if that's normal.  Upload speeds seem fairly consistent at 10-ish.  I'll try some more tests late tonight, or maybe early tomorrow morning if I get chance.

Max traffic rate is 117000047 bps, so that looks hopeful.  Can't find a device connected speed anywhere.  Old hub here, different interface?

Re: Upgraded my contract last week, but speed hasn't changed

as already asked... is that on ethernet or wifi connection.

If wifi - do it over ethernet with the Hub put into modem mode.

If wifi - is that on the 2.4 or 5 GHz band - it makes a big difference !

Re: Upgraded my contract last week, but speed hasn't changed

This is all on a wired connection, with everything else turned off.  Speed-testing on a WiFi connection is fairly meaningless, don't you think?

Re: Upgraded my contract last week, but speed hasn't changed

That package was offered to me last year at my contract renewal.  I was surprised as anyone.  It was passable but not great for just me not doing anything really heavy, especially since it really did run at 20MBps 24/7.  This year. the slowest on offer seems to be 50MBps, and I've signed up for 100.  Or maybe not, since even off-peak it seems nowhere near.  fast.com came up with 60Mbps down and 10Mbps up this morning.  That's the fastest result I've seen.
