Upgraded from 600mbps to 1000mbps no change in speed

I have upgraded from 600 Mbps to 1000mbps and am still only getting around 300mbps. Just looking for advice regarding whether I should have been given a new router and whether virgin should have done anything there side to turn up the speed. Cheers

What hub have you got? What speed does it say when you logon to the hub. It’s under <Router Status> <Configuration>.
