I yesterday got the router for hub 5 I set it up everything was OK.

Soon as I turned it on and everything it was still 200mpbs with 20 upload i looked online and some people/suggest to wait 24hrs sometimes will take to upgrade.

It has been 24hrs now or more and I have reset it and other things (including pinhole thingi reset) and that's not made a difference I tried this a couple hours ago to see if it would work and it didn't.

I have tried wired it was the same (the device supports the amount 1gb,2.5gb ethernet,etc) wireless the same thing. I know that ethernet Is more stable blah blah blah

I also heard that it could take 48hrs but I heard that usually doesn't work from people on the community thing and friends and other people

On the 192.168.0.1 virgin media website where you can see things logged in and out it shows (image attached below)

  • If needed will provide the account ip,email or whatever is needed

I hope to see the upgrade soon (friends who have virgin media had the same issue and then someone helped out by changing or doing something in the weird 192.168.0.1 thingi I think it was a employee/or mod and they had about 1-3hrs after talking that they had the speeds fixed or at least somewhat

What have you 'upgraded' to?

Your HUB is setup for a M200 subscription, so 200Mbps down / 20Mbps up is correct.

Just because you have a HUB 5 doesn't mean you'll get faster speeds.

Had 200almpbs virgin media one aka hub 3 before got hub 5
i know my area can reach 500-1000 (both from neighbours,online tests of ... and other things)

i forgot to say that i know that virgin media upgrading doesnt guarentee the speed to increase

What speed are you subscribed to?

If you haven't updated your subscription from M200 there is nothing wrong. Your speed won't change just because you have a HUB 5!

@RLOJ

As the others have said, the configuration on the hub is set at the 200 Mb/s tier. Now just because VM have ‘upgraded’ you to a hub 5 (and I’ll reserve judgement on the word upgraded here), doesn’t mean there will necessarily be any change in speed, did you upgrade your subscription and are you paying extra for a speed increase?
