Under 1mb Upload Speed

I'm a long time virginmedia customer, but now I've been forced onto a message board to find help. I've called up and registered complaints with the offshore call centre but nothing at all has changed. At the moment a slow reliable line would be better than a fast one that doesn't work,

I'm supposed to have a 350mb down and 36mb up line , which has been generally okay but in the last three weeks there hasn't been a problem free day.

This morning the line was down due to a power cut and then nothing from 8pm this evening. If anyone here can help please let me know.

Here are some of the details from my router

If anyone at all can help that would be great as one more day lost and I'll have to get a backup broad line in.

Re: Under 1mb Upload Speed

The variation in the upstream modulation indicates an upstream noise problem and explains the slow speeds,  but you've also got power levels that are too low on a couple of downstream channels that is causing high error counts.  This will need a technician visit to fix, if you hold on here the forum staff will pick this up and advise on next steps.  That can take minutes, sometimes a day or two, but always better to deal with the helpful UK forum staff than phone in and deal with the untrained script readers of Timbuktoo.

Hey FedRightUp.

I agree with what Andruser has said, you will need an engineer visit for to fix your issue.

I will drop over a private message in a few moments, please respond and we can get this sorted.

Regards
