Unable to use SamKnows real speed

I have a hub 4 in a gig1 area but when I try to use https://www.samknows.com/realspeed/  it tells me I don’t have a compatible router, I am connected to the home network in router mode with no VPN running.

We get the same. Some days it works others we get the error message. Hence we also use two other sites, amazing how they can sometimes give very similar results, other days a vast difference.

Try these two - both work fine and are very close. But just speeds to device

- try on 2 different browsers - as Chrome sometimes gives odd results.

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 1 WiFi, 1 on PA) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's. On 250Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Verify the ISP is Virgin Media & then give it another try.

Sorry to hear you are having issues accessing sam knows. Were you able to try the advice of the community members? Are you still having issues accessing 👉 RealSpeed - SamKnows?

I had this problem yesterday my download speeds are all over the place, though a reboot of the hub fixed the issue getting it to work my download speeds are still fluctuating way to much.

I would not go by Samknows, it always has been crap even before it was added to the HUB's

Just ran it for first time in ages (VM would blame my PC here), even had the exact opposite where it is double digits in and full speed out.

Then I download a 5GB NBZ at 930-940Mb/s, so which would you go by?
