Re: Superhub 4 Slow speeds Gigabit internet

Do you have multple wired devices you can try?

Previous threads have found that Windows 10 can sometimes cause issues with speed.

Re: Superhub 4 Slow speeds Gigabit internet

Well there is some troubleshooting you can do:

  • Update network card drivers.

  • Disable 'Large Send Offload v2' on your NIC

  • Alter auto tuning level

https://www.majorgeeks.com/content/page/what_is_windows_auto_tuning.html

Unfortunatley it's a case of troubleshooting, VM can't help an issue that is outside their control.

You are getting the speeds you are subscribed to (The upstream power levels are a little high still).

Another thing to keep in mind is the faster packages are designed for use across multiple wired and wireless devices. Even the ethernet ports you plug your wired devices into are not capable of your internet speed (roughly 900Mbps).

Re: Superhub 4 Slow speeds Gigabit internet

Ok NIC card is all up to date, disabled Large send offload, speeds are roughly the same, hoping I can get an engineer booked to sort the upstream levels.

Re: Superhub 4 Slow speeds Gigabit internet

I'm not sure how tech-savvy you are however it maybe worth trying to 'Live Boot' from a USB stick with Ubuntu to confirm your PC is capable of the expected speed (I'm sure it will be):

Re: Superhub 4 Slow speeds Gigabit internet

Just wanted to thank you for yesterday, did the speed test on ubuntu and was getting close to 1000mbps, tried a windows 7 computer today aswell getting around 1000mbps aswell. Seems to be windows 10 is causing the speed issues. Thanks for all your help!
