Speed

Hi, hope someone can help me! At the end of my tether with broadband speed being slow, just upgraded to M350 however Internet speed test is always around 30 mbps! 2 children who like to game online and stream, always moaning that it's lagging etc. Done all the resets, and suggestions on virgin connect etc. Help!

Follow the instructions below carefully:

Connect to the hub by clicking on this link http://192.168.0.1/  That should pull up the log in page for the hub.  But don't log in, just click on the link "Check router status" 

That'll bring up a window with five tabs.  Open the Downstream tab.  Select all the text (Ctrl-A if using a keyboard), copy it (Ctrl-C), then paste it (Ctrl-V) into a reply here as TEXT not screenshots. 

Post that, do the same for the Upstream and Network log.  You'll get an odd error message when you post the Network log, just click on "post" a second time.

Then we can check for any obvious problems with power, noise or error counts.

Try on a different browser. Try connecting via ethernet cable rather than wifi (or vica versa) Or try http://192.168.100.1 - if in modem mode

According to these figures there isn't much wrong with your broadband connection. This sounds more like a WiFi problem.  Are your family all using WiFi?  If so you will need to look at improving the way that is set up.

What is the speed like with a device connected to the Hub with an ethernet cable ?
