Hub 3 keeps getting stuck on speed of 1mb for both wired and WiFi connections. Power off/on may briefly clear, full reset clears for few hours or if lucky a few days.
History:. Had occasional problems over last couple of years with old hub that seemed to worsen when Virgin "upgraded" the local area last year sometime. We upgraded to Hub 3 and it's been even worse.
Running the official equipment test never shows a problem. Engineer came out beginning December. Could not find a specific problem but most cables been in for years so he replaced them and cleaned up connections.
Speed was ok for few weeks so Xmas was good ! But we are back to frequent resets tho we tend to just resort to 4g on our phones
If possible can you set up a Broadband Quality Monitor (BQM) at thinkbroadband.com - this will give you an insight into what is happening with the signal at the other side of the Hub, it will take a few hours to get any kind of trend showing although you should post the link straight away.
