I am a new customer In a newly virgin installed area for a month and on the top m500 package.
since it was installed I have noticed it drops to Very slow 20mbps or less at different times of the day For 30 min or more every day or so.
can anyone help or advise I have restarted the router several times.

Yes through the virgin wired fiber box
speeds drops at random times every few days to just a few meg for 30 min or so then picks up again
Thank you for confirming, can we please confirm if you've recently put through a pin hole reset of the Hub?
No haven’t done that but have turned it off and on at electrical supply
Could you please run through a pin hole reset by holding in the pin hole button for 60 seconds or until the lights on the Hub go off.
This will refresh the services, please let us know how this goes.
