Speed change from 200 to 40

Hi 

My internet speed was drastically slowed from 200 MB to not even 45 MB today .

I don't know what happened it was working fine then I lost connection for a second and when it came back it was very slow . I tried to turn it off and on that helped for a minute it was on 100 MB then it turned back to 45 MB 

Please help!

Welcome to the "VM have been aware of this issue but do not publicly admit it since March" lots of people are complaining that the speed has gone sub 100mb across the nation but they have not put any public release info out about it and until they acknowledge it then they can't be held accountable

I'm very sorry to hear that you're facing some issues with the connection speeds you're getting recently. I've checked our systems and I'm unable to see any issues on the line currently to explain why you're having this problem.

Are things any better for you today? If the issue remains, can you confirm if you're getting speed issues on a wired connection too, or just wireless/Wi-Fi?

I'm very sorry to hear you're experiencing some speed issues recently, but we do not throttle our speeds and there's no large impacting issue. The vast majority of our customers don't experience any issues with their services during their time with us, but when we're made aware of a problem we'll do all we can to help resolve it ASAP.

I've checked over things on our systems, and I'm unable to see any faults on the line currently to explain any problems you may be facing at the moment. Can you expand on the nature of your issues and we can go from there?

It was ok it went back up but today I wanted to download a game from steam and mid way in download I got my speed down for o reason . if it doesn't go back up then i will be thinking of changing a provider if that is the case
