An update: my Internet speed was down to anywhere between 0 and 17mbps Wireless. I phoned up support and they told me to reset my Router. The speed is now back to over 200mbps. However, the support agent did tell me that it is recommended that the router is reset once per week!
how can this be, that there is a requirement to reset the router every week? This is nuts! Is this actually Virgin Media‘s advice because of a faulty router design? Has anyone else been given this advice?
Following this advice means that my time setting up the network as I want it, is time wasted.
