Slow broadband

Had a new cable installed over lockdown to cure drop out and slow speed but still can’t get more than 17-20 mb and more often less than 10mb down and around 12 up. We are area 06. Tried rebooting loads of times VM connect app says everything alright, any help greatly appreciated

wired or wireless connection when testing speed

Wireless, speed is fine wired but despite moving router to every conceivable position, and now having tried VM boosters which knocked internet out altogether I think it’s the router that’s at fault maybe

Thanks for posting. I am sorry for the lower than expected speeds. I've ran a system check for you today and cannot see anything that would be causing this. Can you post your system logs?

If wired speeds are fine then you need to look into optimising your WiFi.

If that doesn’t make any difference you’ll need to look into putting the hub into modem mode with your own router or look into getting a mesh system or running some wired AP’s.
