Slow and inconsistent internet speeds

I have M100 fibre broadband, but since working from home I've realised just how inconsistent the speeds are, and that they almost never reach advertised speeds. 

(insert rant about working from home with poor internet here)

1) Is there some way I can log internet speeds that VirginMedia will accept as proof there is an issue? I'm supposed to have a guaranteed 54Mbs download speed, but I seem to get 25-35Mbs most of the time.  

2) Is it normal that routers need to be reset frequently? The speeds seem to pick up briefly after a reset, but within a week or two (sometimes less) we're back to the same inconsistent internet. Is this a router problem?

What is your connection like with a direct connection using a Cat 5E/6 cable between the Hub and a 1Gbs capable Pc/Mac/Chromebook and no other devices connected ?

Can you please

Type 192.168.0.1 (192.168.100.1 in Modem mode) into your browser URL bar and press enter. 

When the page appears DO NOT LOG IN but click ‘Check Router Status’.

Copy and paste the contents of the Downstream, Upstream, Configuration and Network Log tabs onto here, if you get a yellow warning click the Post button again.

A Guru will be along soon to decipher the info.
