Slow Upload speeds

Hi There

Of late I have been experiencing slow upload speeds (1 - 2 mbps) and it's really having an impact on screen share work calls. A little frustrating to say the least so wondering if anyone can help?

I have seen other forums where they have asked to post upstream and downstream info so I have done that below.

For Further context, I am using a Hub3.0 in modem mode connected via ethernet to a switch which then connects to an Erro (with 2 further eeros in the house),  TV and a PS4. Both of the latter are not in use when taking a speed test. The speed taken is both wirelessly standing next to the main eero, as well as in the eero app speed test, so it is the incoming speed and not related to the wireless system. I am on M200 package.

Re: Slow Upload speeds

Your downstream power levels are way to high, this would need an engineer to put right.

Best to ring VM just after 8am or you can wait here for a Virgin staff member to pick it up between 5-10 days, sometimes sooner, sometimes later.

23939989936.3512064 qam4
34620003734512032 qam3
43260015943.8512016 qam9

Your upload streams should all be 64 QAM

For future reference you need to run the test with direct wired connection from PC/Laptop to router using a Cat 5e cable or better with a 1Gbps Ethernet capable network card?

Re: Slow Upload speeds

Have you tried a pinhole reset? Hold in the pinhole at the rear of the router for at least 50 seconds and then release (the lights will flash while holding in the pinhole reset button after about 15 seconds) then allow 5 minutes for the router to reboot and re-sync the connection.

Re: Slow Upload speeds

Thanks so much for your reply.

I will try the restart later tonight, and if no improvement in the metrics you highlighted, then I will contact VM on the phone
