Slow Speed

Hello,

I'm having consistently slow speeds (10-20mb) . Some times a reset helps, often it doesn't. I've had all of my cables off and checked for tightness.

 

I had a similar problem earlier in the year and had a technician visit. An intervention 'at the other end' seemed to fix it then.

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

What Hub do you have?
What speed package are you on?
Are you testing on a wifi device or an ethernet cable connected one?
What device is it - can you test on others?
How are you running the test?

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired 2 WiFi,) SH2 in modem mode with Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's. On VIVID200, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Package is 200mb (when working well I get this)

Hub is a 3.0

Range of devices wired/wireless give similar results.

Testings on speed test.net app or website

OK - are you getting dropouts as well or just speed issues?

Can you post up all the data from the Hub's Downstream, Upstream and Network log pages and set up a BQM - see...
