Slow Speed M200

Hey everyone,

I have the M200 package and the speed is far away from 200Mbs. Usually was around 80Mbs until the last 2 weeks when the speed drops to 30Mbs. Now is a fluctuation between 30Mbs and 60Mbs. There is no change after reboot and fault checker. I'm connected directly to the superhub via ethernet cable. Any idea about what is going on? Many thanks for your time.

Re: Slow Speed M200

If you are in router mode if not change to router mode

Then log in to your Hub and Click on Connected devices

and tell us your connection speed to the Hub

connected devices.jpg

Run a speed test and keep an eye to that page and see if the connection speed changes

Re: Slow Speed M200

Just checked my connection speed to the Hub is 1000Mbps. It doesn't seem to change when I do a speed test.

Thanks

I think you may be mistaking the LAN speed and Wan speed.

What speed do you get at >> speedtest.net << using a direct connection using a Cat 5E/6 cable between the Hub in Router Mode and a 1Gbs capable Pc/Mac/Chromebook and no other devices connected ?

Re: Slow Speed M200

C can you do a 5 minute reboot on the Hub to see if the Hub can renegotiate a decent connection.

Switch the Hub off using the small switch on the rear of the Hub next to the power cord and pull the PSU plug from the wall socket.

Give it a good 5 minutes put the plug back in and switch the Hub back on.

Allow the Hub a few minutes to fully restart then do another speed test.

Re: Slow Speed M200

Hello dansaville

Thanks for your post and sorry to hear about the slow speeds

I have ran a quick check on your hub and can see it has been on for 14 days

Did you manage to switch it off like you were advised

If not can you try is now please

Also 2 of your downstream levels are out of range

If the reboot doesn't fix that we would need to get an engineer out which I can arrange

Re: Slow Speed M200

Sorry I have been away with work for a few days. I have just switched it off for 5 mins and turned back on. From what I can see there is no change.

Thanks

Dan
