Slow Internet Speed M200 Package

Hi, I've been on the M200 package for a couple of years and consistently received between 200 and 210 download speed. However, in the last two months it's never risen above 85 and sometimes drops as low as 35.

I have a Superhub 2 which I've powered down and rebooted numerous times but it hasn't resolved the problem. It is currently operating in modem mode but I have also switched it back to router mode and the speed doesn't change. My desktop PC is hard wired with a Cat 5e ethernet cable between Superhub and router and router into PC.

I have run the service status test and it states everything is operating correctly.

Can anybody advise what might be causing such a huge slow down in speed.

Could you access your router using http://192.168.0.1/ or http://192.168.100.1 for modem mode . You shouldn't need log in, select the 'Check Router Status' option and paste your 'Downstream', 'Upstream', and 'Network Log' tabs? Please copy/paste this data as text, split between multiple posts (Sometimes you have to click 'Post' twice due to an error message).

The information above may be in a slightly different section for the older HUBs.

Could you please create a BQM (Broadband Quality Monitor) here, and post the live link?

The stats don't look too bad to be honest, several errors in the network log, however.

Could you create the BQM when you get chance as this will show if there is an issue with your line, most probably congestion/oversubscription in your area.

I've never used BQM before so am not sure if I have correctly done what you asked for.

You might be correct about oversubscription as there have been two new housing estates built in the last 18 months.

The link is correct, however it's showing full red which normally means pinging is disabled.

If you are using your third party router could you enable a ping response?

Carl,

Apologies again. Any ideas how I enable a PIng response. If it's any help it's an Orbi RB50. If not, I can switch Superhub back into router mode and rerun the test.
