Slow Download Speeds On 150mb VIVID

I am having very slow speeds on my Hub 3.0. My speed test downloads at 43.6mb and uploads at 2.39mb. This is using ethernet straight to the router. Web pages are slow to open up, even using my Geforce Now app I only get 41mb from it. Something Is going on here that isnt right. I give up calling Virgin team as they have not got a clue (no offence) so I thought this would be the best place to go. These are my results from the router status.

Similar issues in Bristol - Area 07 - Vivid 350 running at 100.

Normally no issues at all.

Mine is still the same. Won't go above 100mb. Virgin team arent helpful on the phone nor on the live chat. Been a couple of days now.

Spoke to them on the phone myself this morning. They restarted the router remotely and said the speeds would recover to the full 350 meg within 20 minutes.

No change - Still at 100meg 5 hours later Smiley Frustrated

I'm wondering if they are throttling the connection or there is congestion in the area. It's been rock solid for ages which is a shame, only the last few days have I noticed it when download speeds took a dive when downloading files (I work from home a lot of the time).

So I was just given the following steps on support which fixed my issue. Give this a go yourself. I'm up at 370meg after this fix. 

  1. Hold down reset button on back of router for 35 seconds
  2. As router restarts and main light starts flashing white TURN OFF the router.
  3. Turn back on after 10 seconds.
  4. Wait 5 minutes as it does a series of diagnostics and comes back online.

The above steps fixes my issues on the Superhub 3.0

*edit. This was a temporary fix and speeds now back down at 60meg.

Yup. Tried this didn't work. They have told me to wait 24 hours and things should be better. Its complete nonsense. I'm don't know everything but I know abit about computers. Been building for years and I know there is something wrong with this router.
