Simple question - Are these stats OK ?

Superhub 3, Modem mode only, Paying for 200Mbps, getting approx 100Mbps.

Just need someone to look at these stats and confirm or otherwise there is an issue.

Look at Power for channels 19 - 24 and again at the Pre RS errors for Channels 19 - 24

Re: Simple question - Are these stats OK ?

Power levels and signal to noise are fine, but the relative error numbers indicates a problem - a few errors are normal, and they're recorded by the hub since its last on/off cycle.  Which means that to have 50-100 on channels 1-3, but many thousands on higher channels is not normal.

Suggest you post the Upstream tab and Network log as well.

Re: Simple question - Are these stats OK ?

That's unfortunate - nothing stands out in either the downstream or the network log.  You'll have to wait for the forum staff to respond.  In the meanwhile you might want to do a series of speedtests and keep a record of the results - if you can evidence any results under VM's (pathetic) half-speed guarantee which for you is 107 Mbps, then they're obliged to do something about it.

According to the VM speed page, the company can get speed data directly from the hub, which begs the question why they don't (a) use that information proactively rather than wait for customers to complain, and (b) why they sometimes make customers jump through hoops to prove there's a problem.

Once any evidence of problems are on here it is very difficult to deny them.

Re: Simple question - Are these stats OK ?

Once any evidence of problems are on here it is very difficult to deny them.

VM may not be able to deny them, but their tactics are simply to ignore them, as any gamer living through the eighteen month to two year trauma of the Hub 3 Puma fiasco will be able to confirm.  VM ignored feedback from triallists about the problems, and launched the misbegotten product anyway.  Then they ignored the many, many complaints (for example a 448 page thread in these forums).  When a fix was being worked on (at glacial speeds), they refused to say anything about it.  And when eventually they had a working fix, it was just squeezed it out between the cushions like a bout of rancid flatulence, rather than admit the issue and trumpet that it was resolved.
