Service Status Page is down

I am getting this all day, when I click on Service Status from the main home page, the link is:  https://my.virginmedia.com/faults/service-status

Can you set up a Broadband Quality Monitor (BQM) at thinkbroadband.com - this will give you an insight into what is happening with the signal at the other side of the Hub, it will take a few hours to get any kind of trend showing although you should post the link straight away.

Post a link to your BQM on here.

Instructions for posting BQM Link

Under your BQM graph are two links in red.

Click the lower link (Share Live Graph) then click generate.

Copy the text in the Direct Link box, beware, there may be more text than you can see.

On here click the Link icon (2 links chain to the left of the camera icon)

In the URL box paste the link you copied and in the ‘text to display’ box write My BQM then click OK - you can post the link straight away.

Type 192.168.0.1 (192.168.100.1 in Modem mode) into your browser URL bar and press enter. 

Hub 2 & 3 When the page appears DO NOT LOG IN but click ‘Check Router Status’.

Hub 4 When the page appears LOG IN then click ‘Check Router Status’.

Copy and paste the contents of the Downstream, Upstream and Network Log tabs onto here, if you get a yellow warning click the Post button again. Use one post for each tab if you wish. Please do not use screen grabs.

A Guru will be along soon to decipher the info.

Thanks for your suggestions, and clearly you know a thing or two about this stuff. So here is the BQM link: https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitoring/quality/share/52273e29d39e3a2ce7ba232666983dc874... 

While I was on that site I ran a speed test, here is the result:  https://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/1603291962703609555 As you can see the speed is significantly lower than normal, I run these often and get at least 80 down and 20 up.

Your BQM is showing all red, this normally means that the Hub isn't responding to Ping.

Can you login to the Hub settings and set your firewall up as shown below please.

You Hub stats look OK.

Have you tried the Status Link again ?

It is working properly for me after yesterday's problem.

Service Status is working, but not productive for me.  It recognises that there is a problem, and it suggests I restart the modem and check its connections are secure (done that a few dozen times so far), and then all it says is run test again, same result, I do all of this and the speed is still slow.  The system has no other suggestions.  I have ordered a new hub 3, which arrives on Friday.  Perhaps that will improve things?

I would hope so, that would mean the mistake I made with the firewall settings will be useful at the back end of the week.

In the meantime, try setting up a new BQM.
